My traineeship in the architectural bureau Reichenberg arhitektura

Maribor, Slovenia

Ivana Ibraimov with IAESTE exchange students in SloveniaMy placement in Slovenia was an invaluable experience that I will never forget. In some way it has changed my outlook on life. I was working in one of the best architectural bureaus in Slovenia, Reichenberg arhitektura, from Maribor. Working there was a real pleasure, but also a big challenge. It challenged me both mentally, but most importantly professionally, because they are working highly professional. Not only by reason of the professional aspect was it a good place for the traineeship, but also because of the people working there.
They were all very friendly and the atmosphere was very familiar and I learned a lot of them. During seven weeks, I also had a chance to introduce Slovenian beauties. Everything is near and for everybody there is something. If you like skiing you may go to Alps, or if you preferred swimming, then you can go to Adriatic Sea (maybe Piran?), or just goes to picnic on Pohorje, or some lakes like Bohinj or Bled. Slovenian people are very friendly and pleasant. The best part of my traineeship was when our Slovenian hosts bring us to their ranch for grape picking. We saw a making wine process and after degustation wine we tried a traditional Slovenian food. It was great experience.

That’s why I would recommend any other students to go to Slovenia for an internship.

Sincerely,

Ivana
